THE German paedo who is the main suspect in the Madeleine McCann case could be out of jail on parole in days, it has been reported.
Christian B, 43, yesterday was unmasked as the prime suspect in the youngster’s disappearance in Praia da Luz, Portugal in May 2007, in a bombshell breakthrough.

However, it has been claimed that Christian B could become eligible for parole on Sunday.
A German newspaper yesterday suggested Christian B could get parole after having serve two-thirds of his current drug sentence.
If the Federal Court of Justice in Germany decide to grant him parole then he would be eligible for freedom from Sunday.
German authorities requested his arrest in Milan on a European Arrest Warrant in September 2018 over the Algarve rape of the 72-year-old two years before Madeleine went missing.
He was brought back to Braunschweig, in central Germany, and charged in August 2019.
In July 2019, he was convicted of supplying of supplying marijuana in the German North Sea resort of Sylt and jailed for 21 months.
It is not clear if the suspect would be considered eligible for parole by considering the time he served while on remand.
BOMBSHELL BREAKTHROUGH
Christian B denied the pensioner’s rape despite the DNA evidence that showed there was a 244billion to one chance it was not him.
He claimed that he used to feed and stroke the cats in the area, suggesting that was how his hair got into the house.
The Braunschweig court convicted him of rape after ruling it was highly unlikely a hair could have been on the victim’s bed sheet unless he had been there.
He is appealing the verdict, claiming that his extradition from Italy was illegal and the Federal High Court is due to rule in the case.
If the conviction is upheld, he will serve a seven-year term.
Christian B has a total of 17 convictions, according to SPIEGEL.
The suspect’s extensive and disturbing rap sheet includes sex attacks on kids, child pornography, sexual coercion, theft and breaking and entering, reports Bild.
Brueckner was first convicted aged just 17 in Bavaria in 1994 for “abusing a child” and “performing sex acts in front of a child”.
German police revealed yesterday they are investigating the convicted rapist “on suspicion of murder” and say they believe Madeleine is dead.
The suspect, who we cannot legally name in full, was first thrust into the frame in 2017 after allegedly confessing to abducting Madeleine in a bar.
He was reportedly chatting to the friend in Germany when a TV report came on about the tenth anniversary of the girl’s disappearance and he suggested he knew what had happened to her.
German sources claim he boasted he had “snatched her” but didn’t say he had killed her.

Clarence Mitchell, a spokesman for Kate and Gerry, told BBC: “They are grateful and they welcome this appeal.
“They have not given up hope of finding Madeleine alive, despite the length of time – they’ve never given up that hope.
“But they are realistic and they say that whatever the outcome of this appeal and the police work, they do need to know because they need to find peace.”
