The 19-year-old was killed by a stray bullet as she went to get shopping in Blackburn.

Former soldier Ismail, 50, moved from war-torn Lebanon ten years ago.

He said: “We came to England to seek safety, yet our daughter was mercilessly killed.

“Are we supposed to feel safe now?

“How do you expect us to walk down the streets where she was shot?”

Ismail said wife Samar, 41, and children Ibrahim, 22, Assil, 13, and Amir, four, were traumatised.

He went on: “We don’t think we’ll be able to live in Blackburn any more.”

Six people are charged with Aya’s murder.
